Backyard Coven (previously Strayhounds) are an italian hard rock band. They formed in May, 2010, with the encounter of vocalist Fil Kane and bassist Davide Annovi. Subsequently, guitarist Frank Lee Martin joined the band and with him they started their first style exercises. The line-up was completed when guitarist Rino Roselli and drummer Alessio Salvaggio joined the band. At this point they playing their songs in various pubs and events in Turin. In December, 2014, they recorded the first EP called "Unknown Woman From Outer Space".

Backyard Coven (precedentemente Strayhounds) sono una band hard rock italiana. Si formano nel maggio 2010 dall'incontro del cantante Fil Kane e del bassista Davide Annovi. In seguito vengono affiancati dal chitarrista Frank Lee Martin con il quale iniziano i primi esercizi di stile, indirizzandosi fin da subito su un hard rock vecchia scuola con forti influenze blues. Completano la formazione, dopo vari cambi di line-up, con il chitarrista Rino Roselli e il batterista Alessio Salvaggio. Da qui in poi iniziano a suonare in vari locali ed eventi di Torino, proponendo pezzi propri. Nel dicembre 2014 incidono il primo EP "Unknown Woman From Outer Space".
